Online series: Contrappasso Goes to the Philippines

Contrappasso has a special relationship with the literature of the Philippines through the enthusiasms of our frequent contributor and occasional guest editor Noel King. Now we welcome you to a special online series of pieces – many published here for the first time – that journey through the contemporary Filipino literary scene.

We will feature in-depth reviews of recent books, interviews with key writers, short stories and novel extracts, as well as Noel King’s presentations at the Sixth International Philippine Literature Conference held in Davao, Mindanao on September 20-21, 2015.
